SEMINAR ON THE APOSTOLIC EXHORTATION OF POPE FRANCIS C’EST LA CONFIANCE ON CONFIDENCE IN THE MERCIFUL LOVE OF GOD
The Carmelite Study Centre for Asia, situated at Jyotir Bhavan kalamassery , in collaboration with the Carmelite Family of India Kochi Zone, hosted a significant Seminar on the Apostolic Exhortation “C’est la Confiance” by Holy Father Francis. The event was organized to commemorate the 150th birth year of St. Therese of Lisieux, a revered figure in the Catholic tradition.
The seminar featured enlightening lectures by distinguished speakers, including Fr. Augustine Mulloor, Provincial of the OCD Manjummel province, Fr. Paxy Alimkal OCD, and Fr. Antony Ponvelil OCD. These esteemed figures shared insights and reflections on the teachings encapsulated in the Apostolic Exhortation.
The event took place at Jyothir Bhavan, Kalamassery, on November 11, 2023. A diverse congregation attended, comprising many sisters from different Carmelite congregations. Their active participation enriched the program, fostering a sense of community and shared devotion.
