Embracing Spiritual Enlightenment: St. George Church, Karthedom Hosts Inspiring Mission Retreat Led by Carmelite Fathers

The mission retreat at Karuthedam, organized by the Manjummel Province, commenced on 14th April. The opening solemn mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Prasad Theruvathu, councilor in charge of spirituality. On 28th April, Very Rev. Augustine Mulloor, the Provincial, conducted the mass for the deceased. The concluding mass was led by Rev. Fr. Joshy Kodianthara, the rector of Varapuzha Basilica.

During this home-to-home evangelization mission, a total of 33 priests and 7 deacons from Manjummel Province collaborated. The activities carried out during the retreat included house blessings, confessions, counseling sessions, Bible study and reflection (breaking the word), eucharistic adoration, classes, workshops, and other initiatives aimed at fostering spiritual revival within the parish.
