Angels ‘Home – a home for the poor

ANGELS’HOME

The project was named after Angels ‘Home – a home for the poor.  This was entirely a new venture of our school with the intention of giving a practical moral lesson to the students that we have a moral responsibility to extend a helping hand to the poor around. Hence the management, staff, students and PTA together scheduled and decided to build and give a home for the homeless of our own student if any. We called for applications from our own students. We received five applications which fulfilled the conditions.  The management committee visited all the five families and made the physical verifications. After deep study and reflection we selected one application and decided to put up the building.  The fund was raised through coupons, film show, food fest and collections from people of good will. All supported generously to the project. Therefore, after completion of the first Angels Home in January 2017 we could save some amount for the second Angels’ Home. Same process was followed and we could complete the second project in January 2018. Thanks to God the almighty and the well-wishers and the supporters for the realization of the dream.
