5th Phase of TIDE
27th August 2019 – on the feast day of St. Monica two financially backward families belonging to St. Augustine Parish, Moolampilly were blessed with new houses. It was the outcome of the relentless petition placed by the families to the Almighty God through the intercession of St. Monica. (“the child of those tears shall never perish.”)
Very Rev. Fr. Provincial blessed the two newly built houses (18th & 19th Houses of TIDE) at 11.30am and handed over the keys to the families. The ribbon cutting ceremony of both the houses was formalised by Rev. Fr. Vibin Choothamparambil, the vicar, St. Augustine’s Parsih, Moolampilly. Fr. Nixon Jose, councillor in charge of social department officially welcomed everyone to the ceremony. And Fr. Shibu Xavier; the social coordinator thanked everyone for gracing the occasion. A special gratitude and admiring note was offered to Mr. Sojan Attully, the architect for his selfless exertion for designing both the houses. Rev. Fr. Ossy Kalathil, Rev. Fr. Stephen, Rev. Fr. Antony Francis adorned the occasion with their benign presence. Mr. Aquinas, the secretary to social department and Mr. Dixon, the secretary to social coordinator was also present.
