The joint inauguration of the academic year 2018-2019 of the Jjyothir Bhavan institute of Spiritualaity and Theology and sacred Heart Philosophy College occurred on 1st June 2018 at Sacred heart philosophy college by 3.30 p.m. Rev. Dr Augustine Mulloor, the chairman of both institutes was the main celebrant. Rev. Fr. Boney Rebeiro OCD broke the Word of God. A posh refreshment was served after the holy banquet. The inaugural meeting began by 5.15 p.m. the theology students led the prayer song; and Rev.Fr. Prasad Theruvathu O.C.D. the rector of Sacred Heart Philosophy College gave away the welcome address. Followed by the presidential address and official inauguration of the academic year by lightening the ceremonial lamp, which was followed by the schola brevis presented by Rev. Fr. Shon Martin O.C.D. after the schola brevis Rev. Fr.. Suprianose Alumkal O.C.D. the dean of the Sacred Heart Philosophy College and Rev.Fr.Wilson Srampikkal O.C.D. the vice president of Jyothir Bhavan presented the reports of the academic year 2017-2018. Thereafter all the professors did the profession of faith. An important event of the meeting was the release of the new book written by Rev.Fr. Bosco correya.; and the book was given to Herbert Kalathil by Rev.Fr. Provincial. Thomas Marottikkaparambil the president of the Jyothirbhavan proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting found its culmination by the papal anthem sung by students of Sacred Heart Philosophy College.
